How to delete your Shoofny account
Shoofny provides an in-app deletion path and a browser-accessible path so users can initiate deletion whether they are inside the app or on the web.

Where to start
- Open Settings, go to the Delete account section, confirm, and submit the request.
- On the web: sign in at shoofny.com, open Settings, and use the same Account deletion section from your browser.
- If you can no longer access the app, use the website path above first. If you still cannot access your account, contact [email protected] from the email tied to your account.
What happens next
- The deletion request is logged immediately, your public profile is hidden, and new incoming chat is closed while the request is processed.
- Verification, moderation, and safety-related records may be retained for a limited period where needed for fraud prevention, abuse review, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
- Uploaded images are removed from our servers when the deletion is completed.
What data is affected
- Your public profile content, links, featured items, and account-facing chat access are restricted as soon as the request is submitted.
- Records connected to reports, blocks, and child-safety or abuse investigations can be preserved when required by policy or law.
- If deletion requires manual review time, users are informed that the request is pending while the account remains restricted.
