How Shoofny handles your data
We keep privacy controls inside the product and limit data use to running profiles, discovery, messaging, moderation, and support.

What we collect
- Account details such as username, display name, profile photo, creator category, and language.
- Profile content you publish, including links, featured items, chat messages, images, and videos you upload.
- Activity signals such as profile views, boosts, clicks, reports, blocks, and moderation events needed to operate the service.
Why we use it
- To show your public profile and power discovery, chat, safety, analytics, and account recovery.
- To review abuse reports, enforce community rules, and protect users from scams, harassment, and unsafe content.
- To comply with legal obligations, store requirements, and platform integrity needs.
Where your data lives
- Shoofny runs on its own servers. Your account, profile and messages are stored in our own database, not in a third-party app platform.
- We never sell your data. Signing in with Google or Apple only shares your verified email and name with us.
Your controls
- You can edit profile content, hide your public profile, close chat, block accounts, and report abuse from inside the app.
- You can request account deletion from Settings. The request is logged immediately and your profile is restricted while the deletion request is processed.
